Won’t getting rid of all government solve our problems?

W ithout government, there is only one law: the Law of the Jungle. The Law of the Jungle says that the strong get everything and the weak are enslaved. The Law of the Jungle is the end of civilization—it is the lack of civilization. “No government” means that the poor truly have less than nothing. Warlords with gangs of bullies and psychopaths will spend all their time enslaving the rest of us. The world will be divided into bullies who have no souls, and miserable, powerless slaves. Nobody benefits when civilization is destroyed. Destroying government is not the answer.

Instead of destroying government, help government improve. Meritocracy is specifically designed to improve our government. It hamstrings bullies and psychopaths. It halts the destructive, interfamilial feud. It prevents the concentration of wealth in the hands of the corrupt and selfish. Meritocracy fixes the issues with government. It will go a long way toward solving our problems.

THE MERITOCRACY PARTY is creating a world where every child is guaranteed an equal opportunity to thrive. If you share this ideal, consider making a small donation to fund our servers, or join the MERITOCRACY INTERNATIONAL as a volunteer.

We are artists, activists, writers, and intellectuals who crave an authentic and fair world. We feel the anomie of this age but we have a plan to fix it. Join us and create a better future‒make your grandkids proud.

CASPER SAUL joined THE MERITOCRACY PARTY in 2012. His activism focuses on economic equality--justice for the "bottom billion" whose cultures were dismantled by colonialism before being exploited by capitalism. Casper believes that guaranteed equal opportunity for every child is the only way to end the poverty caused by the financial oligarchy's concentration of wealth. He supports the MILLIONAIRE INHERITANCE TAX as the ideal policy to realize justice for impoverished communities that have been economically abused by the 1%.

    A few things:

    1) No government wouldn’t necessarily lead to a law of the jungle. We often cooperate on things without invoking the government to oversee that cooperation. For example, when we play as children, or go out as friends, we don’t look up what all of the government rules are for doing so. Can you imagine, a government pamphlet “The Laws for Hanging Out With Your Friends at the Park” where it warns you that you pay a $30 fine for telling an off color joke in a mixed gender situation? In other words, we don’t need government rules for that situation because everybody involved already agrees on the rules based on everyone’s personality.

    2) You say “Warlords with gangs of bullies and psychopaths will spend all their time enslaving the rest of us.”

Are you aware that there are actual psychological studies that prove that many politicians are psychopaths? Also, look at the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Also, consider things like asset forfeiture laws and the fact that many people give at least 40% of their money to the government in some form of tax. In other words:

“Warlords with gangs of bullies and psychopaths will spend all their time enslaving the rest of us.” is THE SAME AS “Governments will spend all their time enslaving the rest of us”

Because governments are warlords (Iraq and Afghanistan) with gangs of bullies (police that take your cash or anything else you have of value under asset forfeiture laws, or will bully you over minor traffic offences if they don’t like you for some reason) and psychopaths (politicians are psychopaths according to some psychologists) that spend their time enslaving you.

After all, wouldn’t you need to be somewhat of a psychopath for the idea of telling people what to do by force to be all that attractive to you?

isn’t that what is happening now in the US. The government is the gang and the poor are their slaves. It is easy to kill million then to control million. Government is enslaving the poor and some don’t even notice it. They tell us what is good and what is bad. They tell us what to feel what to think. So we are in a jungle and the government is the gang. The greed has poised the mankind how can someone get rid of that disease. Money is like heroin you do it once you want more. The rich want more. they do not know what it is like not to have enough money to support your family and they depend on you and you stay strong so they don’t know that you don’t have a way of finding money. Let them switch places with us let see if they can survive.
